Sarah Silverman's
Poker History
Sarah
Silverman was born in Beford, New Hampshire. She first started out
writing for "Saturday Night Live" and later moved on to
"Mr. Show with Bob and David" on HBO. It was quickly evident
that Sarah was able to be quick witted on either side of the camera,
and got her first feature film role in 1998's Bulworth.
At the end of her run on Celebrity Poker Showdown, Sarah
climbed atop the poker table and begged the dealer for a helping
river. The dealer burned and turned the river into the small of
her back. Shortly thereafter in the Loser’s Lounge interview,
Dave Foley said, “And there was a river flowing down the small
of your back.” Sarah quickly replied with “Yeah, if
I only had a nickel…”
