Kathy Liebert's Poker History

Kathy was born in Tennessee and grew up in Long Island. After earning her degree in business from Marist College, she began her poker history with a brief stint as a prop player. She started playing tournaments in 1994. Her biggest win so far was a $1,000,000 pay-off, and although she split it with Berj Kacherian and Phil Hellmuth Jr., she is still the first woman to win a million dollar tournament prize. She is ranked in the top 10 of the WSOP top women money winners, and as well as her million dollar win she has won a WSOP bracelet, took first place in the Winning of the Green No-Limit Hold’em tournament in 2003, and second place in 2003 at the WSOP Limit Hold’em tournament.
