Online Poker Guide: Party Poker Review
Party Poker is the largest online poker site on the internet today and it continues to grow everyday. During peak hours 10,000 real money poker players can be found at tables playing into the wee hours of the night. If you include play money players, there are 60,000 players on Party Poker, needless to say there is a lot of action at these poker tables.
There is really nothing crazy and revolutionary about Party Poker's software, but more importantly it was a smooth install and the I had no problems running the software on my computer. I really did like the fact that I was able to resize the play screen, this would be helpful when your playing multiple games, or have other stuff your working on. Overall I would say the style of play is soft, due to the amount of poker players of all skill levels on the site. This is something to take into account if you are a tight player like myself.
Game Variety
I was given the choice of playing Texas Holdem, Omaha hi-lo, Omaha, 7-stud, 7-stud hi-lo. Like always I picked No Limit Hold'em to be my poison. The game play and flow of the Party Poker game was good and it kept me interested.
Promotions
The most interesting promotion that I saw advertised on Party Poker was their PartyPoker.com Million Tournament, where you can compete for an estimated $5 million in prizes. There are also plenty of Free Roll tournaments and real money tournaments.
