Doyle Brunson's Poker History

Men of Poker: Doyle Brunson Doyle Brunson is a legend in the poker world. He was born August 10, 1933 in Longworth, TX. He has won the WSOP twice and has 10 bracelets, but is likely most recognized for "Super/System" - the book he published 25 years ago which explained all his secrets poker winning secrets in detail. He ties the all time WSOP bracelet list along with Johnny Chan who each have 10 bracelets. Brunson still plays in the World Series of Poker but he makes his real money in ultra-high stakes cash games. Due to the different sets of skills needed to succeed in those vastly different environments, this type of transition is considered by many to be one of Doyle's major accomplishments.
