Men of Poker: Daniel Negreanu Born in Toronto, ON in 1974, Daniel Negreanu is a young Canadian who started playing poker at the age of 15. He is arguably the hottest player in poker right now. In 1998, at 23, he became the youngest world championship event winner in history and also won the 97' Best all around player at Foxwoods, the 98' World Series Champion Pot Limit Hold'em, the 99' US Poker Champion, and won 12 tournaments over that span, more than any other player on the circuit.
