Chip Jett's Poker History
Chip was born in 1974 in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was raised. He has accumulated over $1.2 million in career tournament winnings. In his early days he was a dealer at a casino in Arizona. Since then he made up his mind to focus exclusively on playing tournaments, which so far has been a great move on his part. He had fifteen final table appearances in 2003. Chip
Jett is quickly becoming a household name on the tournament trail.
This is no doubt due in large part to his Party Poker Million and
Bicycle Casino appearances on the World Poker Tour. He's also often
associated with his wife, Karina Jett, who is also a successful
poker player. Chip and Karina have one daughter. Today Chip Jett
plays an amazing 300 or so tournaments a year. He hopes to one day
make enough so that he is able to relax on a beach somewhere and
only play in a dozen or so tournaments a year.
