Online Poker Guide: Full Tilt Poker Review

If you're looking for something different when it comes to online poker, than Full Tilt Poker could be the online poker room for you. The game play looks refreshingly different than a lot of the other sites out there with it's cartoon-like-design of their characters. In addition to the software's different look, Full Tilt Poker is gaining a reputation for having some great poker promotions and fairly good traffic considering the site is one of the online poker world's newer destinations. Full Tilt has enlisted some of professional poker's elite to be their spokespeople, some of these poker pro's include Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, John Juanda and Erik Seidel. It's great that these players play poker on the site, but none of them are known to visit the site very often.

Game Variety Play Full Tilt Poker

The game selection on Full Tilt Poker is okay, but it is far from great compared to other poker sites of its size. Players can try their luck at the tables with Holdem, Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo, 7-Card-Stud Hi and Hi-Lo. I have found that the majority of the players play fairly tight on the site, but not near as tight as some other poker sites.

Promotions

Compared to other sites Full Tilt Poker's promotions are okay, with the amount of players they have on the site they could probably do a lot more. There are multiple real money poker tournaments that happen on a daily basis. In addition to the regular tournaments there are WSOP and WPT entry tournaments on the site as well.

Why I Like Hollywood Poker More Than Full Tilt Poker

After playing on Full Tilt Poker for a couple of hours I would have to say that is not the site for me. It seems they are just okay in most areas, they do not have a element that they clearly dominate. The cartoon feel in the poker rooms is kind of interesting for awhile, but it quickly loses it's charm. There are not really any big money poker games on the site, this is probably a good thing considering the withdrawal system for transactions are extremely limited.
