Golden Palace Buys a Ukulele for $11,000

Golden Palace may be getting into the music business, the online casino site recently announced that they have purchased a DQ Ukulele signed by billionaire investor Warren Buffett. The custom-made-ukulele was gift given to Warren Buffett by Dairy Queen. Many people in the business world consider Warren Buffett to be one of the most successful investors of all-time.

Golden Palace paid $11,000 for the instrument used by Warren Buffett, proceeds from the auction went towards the Omaha Children's Hospital, which is part of the Children's Miracle Network.

"This was a great opportunity to help out a worthy charity and get some marketing exposure at the same time," said GoldenPalace.com CEO Richard Rowe. "Over the years we have developed a knack for recognizing a great advertising investment when we see it. Mr. Buffett is an American icon, and we are honored to own this item as well as contribute to the Children's Miracle Network."

Golden Palace has made headlines over the last couple of years for their unique marketing idea of purchasing strange items online. The online casino has purchased a Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Britney Spears' Pregnancy Test, and William Shatner's Kidney Stone.
