The first thing I noticed about Bodog was their software. The poker software has a simple look to it, but it is great at the same time. The thing I liked most about the interface was the fact that there were thumbnail images of other tables in my playing window, this is a great feature. Another thing that stuck out for me was all the poker statistics that were offered to me during a game.

Game Variety

Another good thing about Bodog Poker is their selection of poker games. You have the option of playing Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha High-Low, Seven-Card Stud, Seven-Card Stud High-Low, and Five-Card Stud. You can play any of these games in a no limit and fixed limit format.

Promotions

The tournaments on Bodog Poker are not as good as many of the other poker sites, but they are decent. There is a weekly $100,000 guranteed tournament and various free roll tournaments as well. If your looking for poker stardom than Bodog is a good place to start with their regular WPT and WSOP qualifying tournaments.

Why I Like Hollywood Poker More Than Bodog Poker

I have a lot of Canadian friends that I play poker with and the fact that Canadians are not able to play on Bodog is a huge reason for me to not convert. Compared to Hollywood Poker and a lot of the other sites out there Bodog does not really have any high stake games.
